Cecil Argue

Cecil Argue has more than 30 years of experience working in the Criminal Justice system. He began his tenure with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office as the Inmate Services Unit Manager in February 2012. Prior to his current assignment, Cecil spent 17 years working for the Pima County Government system (Tucson, AZ). He held positions as a Corrections Officer with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office Adult Detention Center, a Pre-Appearance Release Specialist with the Pretrial Services Division of the Pima County Superior Courts, and as Probation Officer and later promoted to Probation Unit Supervisor with the Pima County Adult Probation Department. Cecil has extensive training and experience utilizing evidenced–based practices and principles such as administering and interpreting offender risk and needs assessments and the use of Motivational Interviewing techniques to assist offenders in identifying their need to change thinking and behavior. Cecil earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona and a Master’s degree in Education from Chapman University.

Jennifer Bramlette

Sheriff’s Senior Manager Jennifer Bramlette started her career with the Sheriff’s Office in 2008. She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California Lutheran University in 2009, and her master’s degree in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of California, Irvine in 2011. Jennifer also received her Crime and Intelligence Analysis Certification from the California Department of Justice. During Jennifer’s time with the Sheriff’s Office she has worked in Detention Services and the Special Services bureaus. Currently, she is the Crime Analysis Manager and works with various units on the Sheriff’s Office to provide real time information to both the community and law enforcement audiences.

Brian Brooks

Brian Brooks started his career with the County of Ventura in 2003 in support of the Sheriff’s Office as an application developer. He has a Bachelors of Science degree from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, majoring in Business with an emphasis in Management Information Systems. He later obtained his Masters of Public Administration from California State University, Northridge. Brian has served in support of the Sheriff’s Department for 15 of his 20 years of County service, having extensive experience with vended software, custom developed software, and all facets of VCIJIS. Brian is a certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner, Project Leadership Academy graduate, and more recently graduated from the Leadership Excellence and Action Program. He now leads all areas of IT for the Sheriff’s Office and is the SPOC for CLETS with the DOJ.
