Technical Surveillance Unit

The Sheriff’s Technical Surveillance Unit’s primary role is to support investigative and community resource teams throughout the county. The Unit is comprised of highly trained sworn and non-sworn personnel who provide technological resources such as video surveillance. The Unit’s secondary function is to acquire and maintain equipment procured through the Defense Logistics Agency formerly referred to the as the Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO). Additionally, the Unit serves numerous other functions, such as heavy equipment operation, to assist the Sheriff’s Office in achieving our organizational goals.
