El 08/05/2022 se produjo un accidente de tráfico en la zona de Huerto Carretera, justo al oeste de Los Vientos Drive in the city of Newbury Park. A male subject was traveling westbound in the bicycle lane on an electric bicycle when he suddenly left the roadway and collided with a fence causing life threatening injuries to his head. The rider was not wearing a helmet. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the rider to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
